Marketing Campaign Concept Board 

Overview: 

  • The grand opening of Little League in Dallas, Texas will be on January 7, 2023. The marketing strategy that we will be using for the grand opening is social media and brand influencers. These strategies will work for our target customers as they are people who use social media quite frequently. By making sure to follow people in the area and even reach out/send PR packages to local influencers, our company will be able to reach a large number of customers by using these resources.  

Marketing Activities: 

  • For the marketing promotion, we will be using apps such as Canva to create graphics to post on our social media pages.

Brief: 

  • Our marketing campaign for our grand opening on January 7, 2023 will be catered toward bringing in as many customers as possible. We will be using all forms of social media, local media, and word of mouth in order to get the word out to our customers. Our target customers are the parents/grandparents of toddlers who are fans of collegiate and professional sports. Our grand opening event will allow customers to experience our store and also have the opportunity to shop sales, win gift cards, and get to know our team. 

​Solution: 

  • The marketing route we will be focusing most on for the promotion of Little League is social media. We will be utilizing platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, etc. In order to get the word out there. We will also be partnering with local influencers in the Dallas area to help promote our brand as well. Local media platforms like local news, radio, and newspapers will also be used.  

Results: 

  • A possible and hoped for result that we will experience from our marketing campaign is complete success. We hope to have utilized all of our outlets to the fullest extent, and bring in as many customers on opening day and after as possible. We hope to have upward of 100 people come to our grand opening, and to have increased our following by at least 25% on all social media platforms after the big day. 

Grand Opening: 

  • The deals we will be using to get our customers to the grand opening of Little League is buy one get one free for their entire purchase for the first 50 customers and a drawing for a $100 gift card for the first 100 customers. We believe that these deals will get customers in the door on the grand opening day because of the possibility to get discounted merchandise and a gift card that they can come back and use anytime.

​Event Marketing: 

  • On the day of the grand opening, on top of the gift card drawing and the sales, we will also be providing snacks and drinks for our customers. We will decorate the store to where it will give the vibe of a grand opening party as well as a shopping experience.
